Last updated: April 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how AccountWell & Co. collects, uses, and protects the personal information of visitors to our website. We are committed to handling your information transparently and in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Who We Are

AccountWell & Co. is a trading name of KMK Solutions Driven Consultancy Ltd, a company registered in Scotland.

Company number: SC829312
Registered address: Clyde Offices, 2nd Floor, 48 West George Street, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland, G2 1BP

For the purposes of UK GDPR, we are the data controller for the personal information we collect through this website. Questions about how your data is handled can be directed to Katarzyna Kabacinska-Pietrzak, Director, at the email address above.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us

When you complete our contact form, we collect:

  • Full name
  • Company name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • The message you send us

If you book a discovery consultation through our website, you will be redirected to Google Calendar, where Google will collect the information needed to schedule your appointment. That process is covered by Google’s own privacy policy.

If you contact us through WhatsApp Business, we may process the phone number and messages you send through that channel.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, we use Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics 4, which collects information about how the site is used. This includes pages viewed, time spent on the site, general location (country or region, not precise location), device type, browser, and referring source. This data is collected only where you have given your consent through our cookie banner.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to enquiries submitted through our contact form
  • Communicate with you about your enquiry, including follow-up messages where relevant
  • Schedule and confirm consultations you have requested
  • Understand how visitors use our website and improve its performance
  • Meet our legal and regulatory obligations

We do not use your information for marketing emails, newsletters, or automated profiling.

4. Lawful Bases for Processing

We process your personal information under the following lawful bases of UK GDPR:

  • Consent — for analytics cookies and any non-essential tracking. You can withdraw consent at any time through the cookie settings on our website.
  • Legitimate interests — for responding to enquiries you have sent us and maintaining a record of our communications. Our legitimate interest is to run our business and respond to people who contact us.
  • Contract — where you become a client, processing is necessary to deliver the services we have agreed.
  • Legal obligation — where we are required to retain or share information to comply with UK law.

5. Who We Share Information With

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business and the website:

  • Our website host — stores the website and any data submitted through it
  • Elementor Forms — the plugin we use to process contact form submissions
  • Google Tag Manager — used to manage and deploy tags on our website, including the Google Analytics tag described below. Google Tag Manager itself does not collect personal information, but loading it involves a connection to Google’s servers.
  • Google (Analytics and Calendar) — for website analytics and consultation booking, where consent has been given or where you have chosen to use the booking feature
  • Complianz — the cookie consent management tool used on this website
  • WhatsApp (Meta) — only if you choose to contact us through WhatsApp Business

Where any of these providers process data outside the UK, we rely on recognised safeguards under UK GDPR, including the UK–US Data Bridge and Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect your information.

6. Cookies and Analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. A cookie banner appears when you first visit the site, allowing you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your preferences at any time by reopening the cookie settings through the link in our website footer.

We use:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — required for the website to function
  • Analytics cookies — Google Analytics 4, used only with your consent, to understand how visitors use the site

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or social media tracking on this website.

7. How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep your personal information only as long as we need to:

  • Contact form enquiries — retained for up to 24 months from the date of your enquiry, unless you become a client
  • Client records — where you become a client, we retain relevant records for up to 7 years after the end of our engagement, in line with HMRC and accountancy record-keeping requirements
  • Analytics data — retained for the default period set in Google Analytics, currently 14 months

After these periods, your information is securely deleted or anonymised.

8. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Ask us to delete your information, where we no longer need it
  • Object to or restrict how we process your information
  • Ask for a copy of your information in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the lawful basis we rely on

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@accountwell.co.uk. We will respond within one month.

9. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. This includes using secure hosting, encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and trusted service providers. No system is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe and will notify you and the regulator if a serious data breach occurs.
